Mr. Kress joined Sabin, Bermant and Gould LLP in 1990 and became a partner in 1994. He has practiced labor and employment law since receiving his law degree from Tulane University in 1981. Mr. Kress counsels clients in the newspaper, magazine, cable and internet businesses on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including labor relations, collective bargaining, equal employment, family and medical leave, independent contractor relationships, wage and hour compliance, restructurings and reductions in force. He litigates labor arbitrations, practices before the National Labor Relations Board and represents employers as chief spokesperson in labor negotiations.
Mr. Kress belongs to the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association and has been a member of the Practice and Procedure Committee of the New York State Bar Association since 1983.
